How we handle your information

When you send a message

The Contact form asks for your name, email address, enquiry type, subject and message, plus an optional page or product link. We use these details to understand and respond to your enquiry, including product feedback, accessibility feedback and requests to correct possible factual errors.

Form submissions are handled and stored by Netlify. Netlify can also send a submission notification to our hello@curiousrini.com mailbox, which uses Apple iCloud Mail. Please do not send passwords, payment-card data, medical records or identifying information about children through this form.

When you subscribe to The Curious Note

Newsletter signup is optional and separate from contacting us. We use MailerLite to collect your email address, manage subscription preferences and send The Curious Note from newsletter@curiousrini.com.

The signup uses email confirmation (double opt-in). You may unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter email or contact us at hello@curiousrini.com. The embedded form loads MailerLite resources and may involve cookies, log information or similar technical processing under MailerLite's own policies. MailerLite also provides the infrastructure used for newsletter delivery and unsubscribe handling.

Website hosting and technical information

The website is hosted by Netlify. In delivering and protecting the site, the hosting service may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser or request information and service logs. Our domain is registered through Hostinger.

Curious Rini currently uses Google Analytics 4 through the Google tag to understand website visits and interactions. Google Analytics may process technical identifiers, browser/device information and interaction data under Google's own terms and policies. Curious Rini does not use this statement to claim that analytics is anonymous, certification-compliant or exempt from consent requirements.

Who receives information

Information is shared with service providers only as needed to operate the relevant service, such as Netlify for hosting/forms, MailerLite for newsletters and Apple iCloud Mail for business email, and Google when Google Analytics is enabled. Curious Rini does not sell personal information supplied through the website.

External services operate under their own privacy terms and may process information in countries other than your own.

Retention and requests

Contact submissions and related email correspondence are kept only while reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain necessary project records or meet applicable obligations. We review stored Contact information and may delete it when it is no longer needed. Newsletter subscription records are retained as needed to administer the mailing list and respect subscription or unsubscribe choices.

To request access to, correction of or deletion of information you supplied, write to hello@curiousrini.com. Requests are handled subject to applicable law, technical feasibility and any information that must be retained for legitimate legal or operational reasons.

Children and families

Curious Rini creates material that adults may explore with children, but the website's Contact and newsletter forms are intended for adults. Please do not enter a child's personal information or sensitive details into either form.

Accounts and purchases

The current Curious Rini website does not provide customer accounts or an on-site checkout. If products link to an external retailer or platform, that provider handles its own account, payment and transaction information under its policies. Curious Rini may record that a retailer link was selected when website analytics is enabled, but the retailer remains responsible for the purchase transaction itself.
